Job Description
The Fluid Conveyance Division of Eaton's Hydraulics Group has an opening for a maintenance Technician on 1st shift (7:00am to 3:30pm). The position is based in Cleveland, TN.
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing all aspects of the facility including machinery, equipment, buildings, and grounds. Builds, rebuilds, trouble shoots, and repairs all facility machinery to company standards. Maintains building and facilities to company standards. Works with maintenance and production leaders to establish task selection and priority. Works safely at all times and attends appropriate training seminars. Maintains and improves skills through cross training and seminars.
The Cleveland, TN distribution center has approximately 90 employees and distributes hose and fittings to the global aftermarket and OEM markets.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Demonstrate understanding and perform preventive (corrective and predictive) maintenance activities.
Prepare preventive maintenance schedules and report weekly completion results to operations management.
Create/maintain a safe work environment and practices safety for themself and others at all times and attends appropriate training seminars.
Understand and follow Eaton's LSRs.
Ability to setup and operate all equipment throughout the warehouse.
Able to work with PLC, PC, and electronic controls effectively as needed for maintenance.
Maintain a clean and well-organized work environment and support Eaton''s 5S
program.
Maintains building and facilities to company standard.
Develop and maintain standardized work documents, Excel spreadsheets, and basic word documents as required to maintain effective preventive and predictive maintenance standards.
Demonstrate ability to use all types of hand tools and power tools, electrical testing equipment, and various painting, moving and construction equipment.
Lubricate and maintain tools and equipment.
Demonstrates skill in the use of machine tools and equipment (example grinders, hand tools).
Meet/exceed all quality standards set by the customers and site departments.
Maintain the quality standards defined for the entire facility.
Weld parts using arc or gas welding.
Install and repair electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical components.
Read and understand blue prints, control plans, routers, job instructions and measurement tools.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and components for preventive maintenance and repair.
Partner with production team leaders to establish task selection and priority.
Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements)
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma/GED required from an accredited institution
Minimum one year of maintenance work experience.
Legally authorized to work in the United States on an on-going basis without company sponsorship
