Checking timesheets for accuracy, entering data into databases and spreadsheets, processing payroll, acquiring all necessary signatures to distribute payroll, processing wage garnishments, make adjustments in pay for raises and bonuses, interface with payroll teams to assure strict adherence to company policy, monitoring payroll and making recommendations to limit unnecessary spend, adept reporting skills to share with leadership team, update and organize systems to manage payroll information, keep detailed records for audits.
Required Skills and Abilities Extensive knowledge of the payroll function including preparation balancing, internal control and payroll taxes, excellent organization skills and attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proficient in multiple software platforms.
Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in accounting, Business Administration, HR or related field, or 3-5 years of related experience.
CPP certification preferred but not required.
